Joint Mountain/West Regional PulseNet & Outbreak Meeting

The Joint Mountain/West Regional PulseNet & Outbreak Meeting brings together public health laboratory professionals and epidemiologists from across the Mountain and Western regions for an exchange of knowledge and expertise in foodborne disease surveillance and outbreak response. This gathering focuses on strengthening our PulseNet network capabilities through hands-on workshops, method updates, and discussions of recent outbreak investigations. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with fellow laboratory scientists, share regional perspectives, and learn about the latest developments in molecular methods and whole genome sequencing technologies. The meeting serves as a platform for regional partnerships, standardizing laboratory protocols, and improving our collective ability to detect and respond to foodborne outbreaks, ultimately protecting public health across our regions.
